A Personal Message from Anthony Perano

For over 30 years, I’ve worked with people facing some of the most painful moments of their lives — financial collapse, overwhelming debt, divorce, or the fear of losing everything. And I’ve never seen a “legal problem” that exists in a vacuum. Behind every case is a person — with emotions, responsibilities, and real-life pressures.

Before I became a lawyer, I spent years working in psychiatric emergency rooms and outpatient clinics in New York City. I earned my Master’s from NYU on a National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) scholarship, and I saw firsthand how people struggle — and how they survive. That experience still shapes how I practice law every single day.
